Bombs explode at two places in Kannur's Kannavam; building near Forest Range Office damaged

KANNUR: Two bomb explosions were reported in Kannavam in Kannur district, sending a wave of panic through the area. The blasts occurred near the Kannavam Range Forest Office and at Chunda. A building near the Forest Range Office suffered damage in the blast, with the impact shattering its windowpanes.

No casualties have been reported. Following the incident, Kannavam police and bomb detection squads reached the spots and began an inspection. Preliminary findings suggest that the explosives were steel bombs. Officials are examining CCTV footage from the area to identify those behind the blasts.
