Daughter of former Kannur ADM Naveen Babu appointed as Food Safety Officer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Niranjana N. Nair, daughter of K. Naveen Babu, who died under mysterious circumstances while serving as Kannur Additional District Magistrate (ADM), has been appointed as a Food Safety Officer in the Food Safety Department.

The appointment order was issued after granting relaxation in the income limit based on a request submitted by Naveen Babu’s wife, Manjusha, to the Chief Minister. The Food Safety Commissioner has been instructed to take steps to provide the appointment once a suitable vacancy is identified. Niranjana is a B.Tech graduate in Food Technology.
