MK Muneer to head Kerala Administrative Reforms Commission; decision taken at cabinet meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Union Muslim League leader and former minister Dr MK Muneer will be appointed chairman of the Kerala Administrative Reforms Commission. The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held today. Muneer will hold the post with cabinet rank. Earlier, the Congress leadership had also staked a claim to the chairperson's post. However, the UDF accepted the League's demand.

The cabinet also decided to appoint Forward Bloc national general secretary G. Devarajan as Kerala’s special representative in Delhi.
