No more police station visits for insurance claims; GD entry made easy through POL-APP

THIRUVANATHAPURAM: Vehicles that meet accidents often end up in police stations discussing long the insurance coverage and embroiled big time in the GD(general diary) entry. However, the long tedious process has ended. The insurance coverage and the GD entry can be done with a click through the POL app from the Kerala police. After the entry, police will directly reach the place and check the vehicles to approve the insurance claim needed.

The procedures in the police station move at a glacial pace and it will take at least three to four visits before the process gets done.
