THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two minor girls have left the Sri Chitra Poor Home in Thiruvananthapuram, prompting the police to launch an investigation. The girls, aged 14 and 16, are natives of Kilimanoor and Pettah. They left the institution on Thursday evening and did not return.

After the girls failed to return, the authorities informed the Vanchiyoor Police, who registered a case and began an investigation. The reason why the girls left the institution is not yet clear. Police said they have started examining CCTV footage as part of the investigation.
