Chief Minister steps in, Satheesans rush in: Free biryani sparks frenzy at Royal Foods

ALUVA: In a unique and flavorful celebration marking V.D. Satheesan’s assumption of office as Chief Minister, prominent bakery chain Royal Foods hosted a special giveaway on Wednesday, offering free biryani to anyone sharing the new leader's name.

The promotion sparked a massive rush at the culinary group's outlets, particularly at the Aluva Desom branch, near the Chief Minister's hometown. The offer was extended to anyone named 'Satheesan', 'Satheesh', or those popularly known by the initials 'V.D.S.'

The initiative was formally inaugurated by former Federal Bank Manager, Satheesh, in the presence of Royal Foods Chairman, Rafeeq Royal, who addressed the gathering. According to management, the celebratory offer witnessed an overwhelming response, drawing hundreds of namesakes to all 14 branches of the bakery chain spread across the Ernakulam and Idukki districts.
