Veeramani's Diwali sweet saga gets a sweet twist and a freebie finale!

Tamil Nadu-based influencer Veeramani, who went viral after asking strangers to send him a box of sweets for Diwali, has finally got his festive treat — along with a range of gadgets and household appliances gifted by Instamart.

As part of its Quick India Movement, Instamart gifted Veeramani a speaker, monitor, stove and mixer, along with the much-requested box of sweets. His latest video revealing the gifts has already garnered eight million views, bringing fresh attention to the viral story.

Veeramani, who hails from Madurai, made headlines a few days ago after sharing an Instagram video requesting a box of sweets for Diwali. He also included his address and phone number in the post.

What followed was an unexpected flood of cash-on-delivery orders. Deliveries reportedly included fruits, milk, vegetables, clothes and food, with even a television and refrigerator arriving at his address. The situation became so troublesome that Veeramani reportedly left his home, and the episode sparked widespread discussion on social media.

Now, the latest update has given the story a very different ending. Veeramani's video showcasing the gifts from Instamart has drawn millions of views, with users weighing in on the unexpected twist.

“This is the climax,” one commenter wrote, while others celebrated the fact that he had finally received his box of sweets. Comments such as “Good plan”, “The marketing team deserves credit” and “Finally, he's happy” reflected the amused reaction to the latest development.

What started as a request for a simple Diwali treat has now turned into a viral tale of unwanted deliveries, online attention and an unexpected gift haul.
