Nayanthara in period action drama; Title Teaser of Rakkayie released on birthday

The title teaser of Rakkayie starring Lady Superstar Nayanthara in the lead role, was released on her birthday today (November 18). Directed by debutant Senthil Nallasamy, the film is being produced by Drumstick Productions and MovieVerse Studios.

Rakkayie is a very different action role in Nayanthara’s career. The team assures that the film, which falls under the period action-drama genre, is a different viewing experience.



Govind Vasantha composed music for Rakkayie. Gautham Rajendran wields camera for the film and editor is Praveen Antony. The makers have announced that the details of the film’s star cast and other technical experts will be announced soon. They said that the pre-production work is progressing at a fast pace and new details will be revealed soon.
