'Pain of marriage not over yet'; Popular actor Rahul Ravi opens up about ex-wife and police case

Rahul Ravi, a favourite star of television audiences, was first married to Lakshmi S Nair in December 2020. Their marital life was far from ideal as differences popped up often, and it only got worse. Lakshmi ended up filing a complaint against Rahul, and the actor went into hiding after the court issued an arrest warrant. Last year, the Supreme Court granted the actor anticipatory bail. Now, he has opened up in an interview about marriage and divorce.

Rahul Ravi:

“We knew from the beginning that the marriage would fall apart. Still, we tried, but it didn't work out. So we separated. It is easy to raise allegations and file a case against anyone. If for any investigation, I have enough evidence to show to police. I knew who was making the allegations and why, but I preferred silence. Marriage is not necessary in life. The fatigue of being married has not gone away yet. I am not thinking about marriage now.”

Rahul rose to prominence through the serials 'Nandini' and 'Ponnambili'. He also acted in the films 'Oru Indian Pranayakatha' and 'Kaattumakaan'.
