Vijay's swansong release date is out; Fans elated over BookMyShow's big update

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay's last film, 'Jana Nayagan', will reportedly get a big screen release soon. The release of the film was delayed after it got tangled in legal issues related to the censor board. However, now it is being reported that the film will hit theatres on June 19.

Vijay's birthday is on June 22. Reports suggest that the film will hit the theatres ahead of that. It was earlier announced that the film will be released only after Vijay becomes the Chief Minister. Meanwhile, ticket book apps, including BookMyShow's window, indicated that the Vijay movie will be released in June. Vijay’s army of frenzied fans are elated over the news, while an official announcement regarding the release is expected soon.

'Jana Nayagan', directed by H. Vinoth under the banner of KVN Productions, stars Vijay and Pooja Hegde in leading roles. Bollywood star Bobby Deol, Mamita Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain are also appearing in important roles. Anirudh is the music director. Jagadish Palani Samy and Lohit. N.K are the co-producers. Sathyan Suryan handled the cinematography. Anal Arashan is the action choreographer.
