BALARAMAPURAM: Police have nabbed the person who broke into a house and stole money and other things from the house. The robbery took place at the house of Suresh at Mavuvila in Mottamoodu. The incident took place on Thursday morning. When Suresh's wife Ajitha returned home after dropping her son at school, she found that the front door and almirah were left open. Upon examining the house, she found that a laptop, two mobile phones, and Rs 1,01,000, including Rs 23,000 kept in the almirah, had gone missing.
When she inquired the neighbours, they said that a person named Andhra Rajesh, who once lived in Mottamoodu, was seen entering the house. Following this, Ajitha called the Naruvammoodu police. Police soon conducted a probe and nabbed Rajesh from Mottamoodu junction. The accused, who was later produced in court, has been remanded.
