Santhosh Varkey taken into custody for his lewd remarks against actresses

KOCHI: Santhosh Varkey also known as Arattu Annan has been taken into custody on the complaint of making lewd remarks on social media. Santhosh Varkey was taken into custody by the Ernakulam North police.

He had earlier posted lewd remarks against film actresses on his Facebook page. The action was on the complaint filed by the actresses against it. Several actresses, including members of the AMMA organization, had filed a complaint against him with the police. The police then registered a case and arrested him.

His remarks were that all women in the film industry are of bad character. He had made similar remarks against film stars earlier as well.
