30 sustain injuries, one critical in tourist bus-truck collision in Thiruvalla 

KOTTAYAM: 30 people sustained injuries after a tourist bus and a concrete mixer truck collided at Muthoor in Thiruvalla. The accident happened early Sunday morning on the M C Road. The driver, who was trapped inside the truck's cabin in the accident, was pulled out with great difficulty.

The fire force, police and locals rescued him by cutting open the vehicle. Reports say the driver is in a critical condition. The injured bus passengers have been admitted to various hospitals in Thiruvalla. The police are investigating whether the accident was caused by the bus being over speeding or the driver falling asleep.
