
KANNUR: The 30 new flight services announced by a major airline company left Malayalees in glee. Kerala has also been included in the new schedules announced by budget airline company IndiGo Airlines. One of the new services from Navi Mumbai city is to Kerala. IndiGo announced 30 new routes connecting various cities between March 29 and April 23.
Direct services to Kannur will also be available from Navi Mumbai, which will be of great benefit to passengers from Kerala. The country's largest greenfield airport has been built in Navi Mumbai. IndiGo's target is 400 services per week from Navi Mumbai once the new schedules start operating.
Apart from Kannur, there will be direct flights from Navi Mumbai to major cities like Agra, Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Belgaum, Chandigarh, Diu, Kolkata, Patna, Rajkot, Srinagar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam. IndiGo Airlines estimates that increasing connectivity to various parts of the country will be a great relief to passengers.
IndiGo announced new benefits for passengers in partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited. IndiGo Bluechip members will receive special rewards when purchasing duty-free products at airports under the Adani Group.
