Youth found charred to death in shop; daughter sustains serious injuries

KOZHIKODE: A youth was found charred to death inside a shop in Narikkuni. The dead is V T Vinesh Kumar (45) of Bazar in Narikkuni. His eight-year-old daughter sustained serious injuries. She is presently undergoing treatment in the medical college hospital.

Locals came to know about the incident after smoke bellowed and noise were heard from the shop. The fire force team then reached the spot and lifted the shutters to inspect the situation and then found the child in a critical condition. The child was immediately shifted to the hospital and Vinesh Kumar's body was found in a search.

Koduvally police reached the spot and recovered a suicide note from the room. The note says the suicide was due to severe financial crisis and that no one else is involved in the incident. The police's initial conclusion is that there are no other mysteries in the death. The police have registered a case of unnatural death.
