Flashing on bus; men's association welcomes Savad with garlands

savad-

KOCHI: Savad, a native of Kozhikode, who was on remand in the case of exposing himself to a woman in a KSRTC bus, has been released from prison. He was released after the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court granted bail with conditions. All Kerala Men's Association members welcomed Savad in front of Aluva Sub Jail. The members welcomed Savad with garlands.

The association had earlier lodged a complaint with the DGP alleging that the woman had lodged a false complaint against Savad to gain more followers on Instagram.

The woman complained that Savad was flashing on the bus which was coming from Thrissur to Ernakulam. He ran away from the bus when the woman started to gain more attention. However, due to the timely intervention of the conductor, he was caught and handed over to the police, after which the woman herself came forward on social media to narrate the incident.
