Four lorries collide in Thrissur; driver was pulled out after an hour-long effort

THRISSUR: Four lorries collided at the Nadathara traffic signal in Thrissur at around 3.10 am today. The driver, who was trapped inside the Taurus lorry, was pulled out by the fire force after an hour's effort.

The driver was taken to hospital. He was the only person in the lorry. He was pulled out using hydraulic equipment. Assistant Station Officer Rajan M, Fire and Rescue Officers Ananthakrishnan C, Krishnaprasad CS, Prakashan K, Fire and Rescue Officer Driver Sudheesh PS, Home Guards Babu PT and Shaju TM led the rescue operation.
