Malayali woman who sought treatment for severe toothache dies in UK

LONDON: UK Malayali collapsed and died while undergoing treatment. The deceased is Marina Joseph (46), a native of Kannankara, Alappuzha. She had sought treatment at the hospital on Friday after suffering severe toothache at work.

While undergoing treatment, she was admitted to a ventilator after having heart attacks. The condition worsened the previous day during preparations for surgery. Her death occurred around eight o'clock in the night.

Marina died unexpectedly almost a year after arriving in the UK. She was living with her sister Elsamma Stephen in Blackpool. She is the mother of two daughters aged eighteen and fifteen. Her father is Kochousef Eranattkalam of Kannankara Alappuzha. The cremation will be held later in her native place.
