Drunk father throws three-month-old baby to ground; baby admitted to hospital

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, a man threw his three-month-old baby to the ground during an argument with his wife. The shocking incident took place at Medical College Junction. The incident happened yesterday evening. Vishnu, a native of Kaniyapuram, has been taken into police custody. The baby has been admitted to SAT Hospital.

Vishnu along with his wife and elder child was standing near Kumarapuram Road talking. In the meantime, an argument broke out between Vishnu and his wife. Following this, he grabbed the three-month-old baby from his wife's arms and threw the child on the ground. Locals intervened and immediately informed the police after hearing the child's screams. The Medical College police reached the spot and shifted the baby to SAT hospital. The child's injuries are not serious. Vishnu is in the custody of the Medical College police.
