Prince hacks wife, mother-in-law to death in Peerumade; father-in-law injured

IDUKKI: A man allegedly hacked his wife and mother-in-law to death in Peerumade, Idukki. Prince, a native of Glenmary, is accused of carrying out the attack. His wife, Priyanka, 30, and her mother, Nesam, 62, were killed. Priyanka’s father, Isravel, was also injured in the attack.

The incident occurred at a plantation layam in Glenmary at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday. A family dispute is suspected to have led to the murders, according to preliminary information.
Isravel was admitted to hospital with injuries. Peerumade police reached the spot and initiated further proceedings.
