SYDNEY: During recent Big Bash League cricket match, Pakistan pacer and Melbourne Stars' player, Harris Rauf faced an embarrassing moment when he forgot crucial items while rushing onto the field to bat against Sydney Thunder. Despite wearing a bat and a helmet, Rauf forgot to wear a glove on one hand and the necessary batting pad. When the Melbourne team lost three consecutive wickets in the last over, Rauf was unexpectedly called to the crease but forgot to wear the batting pad.

Rauf, who rushed onto the ground missed wearing the pad and didn't even face a single ball as he remained at the non-striking end. His team suffered a loss against Sydney Thunder with the latter securing victory by five wickets. Melbourne Stars had initially scored 172 runs in 20 overs but Sydney managed to surpass the target achieving 173 runs with the loss of five wickets in 18.2 overs.
