Sachin and Reenu coming back: Premalu 2 announced; animated teaser screened

The second part of the romantic comedy film Premalu, which smashed the theatres, will be happening. The second part of Premalu was announced during the Premalu success celebration held in Kochi. The film will be produced by Bhavana Studios. Bhavana Studios is owned by Fahad Fazil, director Dileesh Pothan and screenwriter Shyam Pushkaran.

Director Girish AD has announced that Premalu 2 will hit the theatres as the seventh film of Bhavana Studios. The animated teaser of the film was also screened at the event. Bhavana Studios stated in a social media post that the film will be completed this year and hit the theatres by 2025. Premalu was released on February 9.

Naslen, Mamitha Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan, Shyam, Mathew Thomas and Shyam Pushkaran were the main characters in Premalu. The screenplay of the film was prepared by Kiran Josey

and Girish. Vishnu Vijay and Suhail Koya composed the music for the film.

Premalu was released in OTT on April 12 after its successful theatrical run. The movie is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. The movie got the same reaction on OTT as it got in the theatre. Trade analysts say that Premalu's final box office collection is 135.9 crores.
