Diners urinate in hotel wash basin; attacks hotel in revenge for stopping them; hotel employees injured in attack

KOZHIKODE: After reaching a hotel to eat, youths tried to urinate in the wash basin there. The employees intervened and stopped the youth's attempt. The youths attacked and destroyed the hotel as an act of revenge. The incident took place at Kakkur Kumaraswamy in Kozhikode district. Two employees of the hotel were injured in the attack by the youth. They were admitted to a hospital and treated.
Police arrested two accused who attacked the hotel. Sarath (25), a native of Puthiyappa, and Ravi, who was with him, were arrested. The action was taken on the complaint of the hotel owner.
Sarath and Ravi came to the hotel to have food. After going to the wash basin to wash his hands and face, Ravi urinated in the wash basin. The staff noticed this and stopped Ravi and questioned him.
Enraged at being stopped and questioned, the youths verbally abused and beat up the hotel staff. They attacked and destroyed the hotel when they still couldn't contain their anger. The hotel owner wants strong action against the accused Sarath and Ravi.
