'Opened room and saw her crying'; Renju Renjimar reveals incident from 2013 AMMA show

Celebrity makeup artist Renju Renjimar in a recent interview with Kaumudi Movies revealed how she turned into an outcast within the industry only for her willingness to appear on the witness list in the actress assault case.

Police had acquired a phone conversation made between Renju with another actress, which made her way into the witness list.

Renju Renjimar:

'It was a conversation that took place on the day the actress' father died. The police wanted to question me to learn more about it. They also asked me what happened on the AMMA show in 2013. I was assigned to do makeup work for three actresses and the assaulted actress was also on the list during the event.

I want the actresses I work with to look better than anyone else, so I will buy anything to make the result perfect. It was my turn to do makeup for the assaulted actress and when I opened her room, I saw this girl distressed and seeing me she was heaving in tears. When asked, some other actresses pointed out certain incidents.

One day in 2017, I was assigned two makeup works; one for Prayaga Martin and Ramya Nambeesan. I worked with Prayaga while I asked my assistant to take care of Ramya. While doing the work, I enquired about the whereabouts of the assaulted actress since I was very close to her and I hadn't seen her for a long time. Ramya informed me that she would come at night and asked me to join them at their flat. Since I had a tough day controlling my migraines, I couldn’t show up at night and slept. The next morning, I received a phone call from an actress about the shocking incident the night before.

I was devastated but didn’t feel like meeting the actress. It was only after months in August 2017 that I met her again. I don’t know the reasons but I lost a major chunk of work in the cine field after the incident, and I’m yet to figure out why.
