TV actress Divya Sreedhar reveals husband Kris Venugopal’s real age, responds to bad comments

Malayalam television actors Kris Venugopal and Divya Sreedhar tied the knot recently. The private function held in Guruvayur was attended only by their close relatives and friends.

Divya Sreedhar usually excels in negative character roles in serials. This is her second marriage and has two children from it. The marriage photos of the two had gone viral on social media. Soon after that, the couple were cyberattacked. The attack was in the name of Kris’ age.

There were bad comments like why did this 65-year-old man marry such a young woman and why did he marry her. The couple has now revealed their real age.

Divya said that she expected some comments but did not think that it would be so bad. ‘I didn’t marry for sex. I wanted my children to be safe and wanted a father for them. I wanted an identity. Is it written anywhere that sex is only life? Can’t a person live without sex. Sex is a part of one’s life. The news was that a man above 60 married a 40-year-old woman. He is 49 and I am 40,’ she said.
