Unni Mukundan starrer Marco has hit the theatres. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the movie has been released with the tag line of being the most violent Malayalam film ever. Actors including Jagadish, who plays a main character in the film, gave hints about this. The Censor Board has given the film an A certificate to confirm that this may be true.

An audience member who saw the film commented that Marco is the most violent film in India and he had to close his eyes in some scenes. Another responded that fights have been choreographed at the same level as Hollywood movies and the movie is awesome. He also says that bringing children is not advised.

Everyone who has seen the movie says in one voice that Unni Mukundan performed on a whole different level. However, not many people recommend the film for family audiences.

The music of 'Marco' is composed by Ravi Basrur, the music director of the big budget films 'KGF' and 'Salaar'. The music rights of the film are owned by Sony Music.
