Illegally acquired 11 acres of land; Vigilance investigation launched against PV Anvar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A vigilance investigation has been launched against PV Anvar following allegations of illegally acquiring land. The investigation pertains to the alleged unauthorized transfer of 11 acres of land in Aluva. The Vigilance had received a complaint that Anvar had taken possession of the land, which was only supposed to be under leasehold rights. After conducting a preliminary inquiry, the Vigilance recommended a detailed investigation. Based on this recommendation, the Additional Secretary for Home Affairs issued the order for the investigation.

The order received by the Vigilance Director has been forwarded to the Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Unit. The Special Investigation Unit II has been tasked with carrying out the investigation. The team has been instructed to conduct a thorough investigation and submit a report within the stipulated time frame. The investigation is being conducted based on a complaint filed by Kollam native Murukesh Narendran, a businessman.
