Actress Kayadu Lohar is a Commerce Graduate from Assam who made her acting debut with the Kannada film 'Mugilpete' starring Manoranjan Ravichandran. She played the role of Apoorva in her debut role. Starting her career with a jewellery pageant contest, Kayadu later won the Times of India's Everyuth Fresh Face Season 12. She was participating in the Times Fresh Face Competition when she was making her debut with Mugilpete.
Following that, she made his debut in Telugu with the movie 'Alluri' starring Sri Vishnu. The same year she made her Malayalam debut with the period action film Pathonpatham Noottandu. The film starred Siju Wilson and was directed by Vinayan. Pathonpatham Noottandu was the Malayalam debut of Santhosh Narayanan with him doing the original score. The movie won three Kerala State Film Awards.
Kayadu Lohar portrayed Nangeli, one of the most iconic feminist figures in Kerala history in Pathonpatham Noottandu. She took intense Kalari sword fighting and horse riding lessons to play Nangeli.
"I Prem U" was her debut movie in Marathi where she played Veena and paired with Abhijit Amkar.
However, the film that made her famous among Tamil cinema fans was the recently released Dragon movie directed by Aswath Marimuthu and starring Pradeep Ranganathan.
Actress Kayadu Lohar gave an excellent performance in the role of Pallavi in this film. Following this film, she is acting opposite Atharva in the Tamil film 'Idayam Murali'.
