Bigger than ever; Empuraan to set new milestone; first-ever Malayalam film to release in IMAX; official update out

Mohanlal's Empuraan is ready to set a new milestone in Malayalam cinema. The IMAX version of a Malayalam film is being released for the first time through Empuraan. Advance bookings for the IMAX version of the film have already begun in international markets including the UK. There are also reports that the trailer of the film will also be launched in an IMAX theatre.

Empuraan is the second part of the blockbuster film Lucifer, which was released in 2019. The film is being released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. Mohanlal will be seen in the lead role of Qureshi-Abram / Stephen Nedumpally. The international appeal of the film's star cast is given by the presence of Jerome Flynn, who is world famous for his role in Game of Thrones. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners of Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies. Written by Murali Gopi and cinematography by Sujith Vasudev.
