THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned sculptor Joseph Rosi K Palackkal has made his place in Thiruvananthapuram after leaving his home town in Iringalakudda. He is the chief craftsman of many beautiful statutes including the 14-feet high statue of Nataraja.

This gifted craftsman was even facilitated by our former president APJ Abdul Kalam. Joseph’s works have found places in many important places in the world like the Raj Bhavan and even in the white house.

His grandson is also following the footsteps of his grandfather. But Joseph has also a complaint that his grandson doesn’t show the pictures drawn by him. He said that his grandson Samraksh holds the view that when someone pose comments on his work he will lose the ownership of his work.
