Muttil tree felling: high-level committee will investigate the case, says CM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said in a press conference that the allegations related to the Muttil tree felling case will be investigated by a high-level committee.

A special team from the Crime Branch, Forest Department, and Vigilance Department will be deployed to investigate. The CM said that steps are being taken for that. "Farmers were the first to report that the trees could not be cut down. The looting took place under its cover. A strict investigation will take place and action will be taken," the CM said.
