THIRUVANANTYHAPURAM: The government has taken a lot of flak over its new Covid guidelines. KPCC chief K Sudhakaran harshly criticized the government's Covid norms. He asked whether it is possible to take the RTPCR test first and then go to buy things.

What if asked to take test to buy half kilo of dry fish? Should all this be said in front of a civilized society? It's a pity, said Sudhakaran.

The opposition welcomed the decision of lifting the lockdown and not going to the shops after getting vaccinated. Is vaccine available here. Who is responsible for it, are the people responsible, asked Sudhakaran. A vaccine certificate is not needed to buy liquor from Beverages, at least a shot is required to buy things from shops is ridiculous, he added.
