‘Annadhanam’ should resume at places of worship

Everyone is finally coming to the realization that Covid cannot be wiped out through closures but the people and the government will only suffer because of the closure policy.
Even experts point out that the indefinite lockdown is unscientific. There are a number of people who say that the lockdown will only increase the spread of the virus. Instead of sweating over the implementation of the lockdown, any realistic government should try to complete the vaccination. It is a common sight to see people from various walks of life slowly returning to their old lives, even if the government does not issue orders. It is known that the decision to allow people to sit and eat in hotels, restaurants and bars in the state will not be too late. Government offices should also be fully equipped. It has also decided to open museums and parks. Morning and evening rides are also allowed. Colleges and schools will be partially reopened next month. The High Court's question of whether the interval between vaccinations should be reduced is crucial in this context. The decision of the government in this regard should not be delayed. This is especially so in the light of the fact that Covid death is nominal in those who have been given both vaccines.

Many people have an attitude that places of worship should be considered only last. Those who think that places of worship are only for God think so. Although the power and energy the mind gets cannot be seen outside when we pray with an open mind, our society is moving forward on the basis of that strength. Moreover, there is a large community of people whose livelihood depends on places of worship. There are many people who make a living by selling offerings and flowers. Therefore, worship places need to be given the same importance as other institutions. The government should give permission for the resumption of ‘anna dhanam’ or food distribution in places of worship that was stopped during the Covid phase. Prominent places of worship are places where the hungry can eat at least once a day free of cost. So the government should consider this when everything is being reopened. At the same time, people must be careful to exercise self-control according to the Covid norms.
