Loses money in online game, boy who leaves home found dead

THRISSUR: A 14-year-old boy, who left home after losing money in online games, has been found dead. He has been identified as Aakash, son of Shaby of Perumpilavu in the district. The body was found in a pond.

The boy has been missing since last Tuesday. His parents lodged a missing complaint with the police. During investigation, the boy's shoes and bicycle were found near Kuttankulam in Koodalmanikyam this morning. On suspicion, a search was conducted in the pond and the body was found.

His relatives said the boy was mentally disturbed after losing money playing online games. His relatives said that he feared his family would scold him for losing money. Following that, he left home on Tuesday evening.
