‘Girl’s mother called Aneesh’s mother just before murder’, phone records confirm arguments

THIRUVANTHAPURAM: The phone details that surfaced said the girl’s mother had called the mother of 19-year-old Aneesh George before he was stabbed to death in Pettah. The girl’s mother called the victim’s mother early morning at 3.20 am. Aneesh was stabbed to death by the girl’s father Simon Lalan at 3.30 am.

When Aneesh’s mother called her back at 4.30 am, the girl’s mother asked her to enquire police about her son. His relatives alleged that Lalan had planned to kill Aneesh. It has been asserted that Lalan is a butcher. Relatives said Aneesh was not found in the girl’s room.

Aneesh’s mother Dolly said that her son slept happily that night and that Simom and his family deliberately called him and killed him. The police had stated that what the accused said is a lie.
