According to the intelligence report, there is a possibility of clashes in the areas where certain sections of the population live. The police and the government are worried that if riots and clashes take place in such places, it will lead to more problems. So extreme caution will be exercised in these areas. The police have been directed to be more vigilant not only in problematic areas but in the entire state.

It was alleged that the recent double murders in Alappuzha were the fault of the police and intelligence. The failure to arrest all those involved in the case is also cited as a failure of the police.
