KOCHI: The Kerala High Court will Tuesday consider the anticipatory bail plea of actor Dileep in the case of conspiring to kill the officers who probed the actress attack case. His plea stated that the case was fabricated by the investigating team. The actor also alleged that it was an attempt to prevent cross examining the investigating officers.
The investigators will proceed to questioning only after a decision comes on the bail plea. The crime branch has registered a case against Dileep based on director Balachandra Kumar's revelation that the former had conspired to endanger five police officers who investigated the case. Kumar's detailed statement will be recorded today.
Apart from Dileep, the police had registered a non-bailable case against his brother Anoop, his brother-in-law Sooraj, actor’s driver Appu, Baiju of Chengamanad and another person. Anoop and Sooraj have filed anticipatory bail pleas. Meantime, the investigating team will file a plea in the court to question Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the actress attack case.
