Gooseberry stuck in throat: One-year-old dies

THRISSUR: A one-year-old baby died after a gooseberry stuck in its throat while playing. The deceased has been identified as Namas, son of Mulagunnathukavu native Kiran and Manju. The baby accidentally swallowed the gooseberry by around 5.30 pm. Although he was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved.
