LDF lodges complaint against Unnithan for influencing voters

KASARGOD: A complaint has been lodged against UDF candidate Rajmohan Unnithan for influencing voters in a booth of Kasargod constituency where re-polling is held. It was alleged that Unnithan sought votes to the voters standing in the queue at booth number 19 of Pilathara School.

Unnithan who reached Pilathara School at 6.30 am influenced voters standing in the queue. The LDF said that if one examines the video clippings of the booth it will be clear and he sought action against the candidate for violating the code of conduct.

Re-polling is held in four booths of Kasargod Lok Sabha constituency after the finding of bogus voting by the election commission.

Re-polling is held in booth number 19 of Pilathara UP School, 69 and 70 booths of Puthiyangadi Jumaath High School, booth number 48 of Kooliyad Govt Higher Secondary School and booth number 166 of Kannur Pamburuthi Mapila School and 52 and 53 booths of Kunnirikka UP School.
