Brazilian football player was downgraded by club due to farting; star denies allegation

BRASILIA: French Football Club Olympique Lyonnais a.k.a Lyon have reportedly downgraded Brazilian defender Girondins de Bordeaux's Marcelo earlier this season due to inappropriate behavior in the dressing room. His indecent behaviour includes farting in the locker room and laughing about it in front of teammates, staff, and management.

Lyon lost 3–0 to the Angers in the French League on August 15 last year. French media L'Equipe reveals that after the match, Marcelo did farting in the locker room and laughed about it in front of teammates. He was downgraded due to laughing during captain Leo Dubois' team talk which was not to coach Peter Bosz and then-sporting director Juninho Pernambucano's liking.
