Police official electrocuted to death in Chavara

CHAVARA: A policeman was electrocuted to death while doing welding work at his family home. Sabu (36), son of Shivanandan of Puthezhath House in Chavara's Vattathara, met a tragic death on Sunday. The accident happened around 4 pm yesterday. Sabu, who works at Karunagapally station, lives in the police quarters in Chavara. The accident happened when Sabu, who knew welding work, rented a welding machine and welded the bathroom door at his family home in Chavara's Vattathara. He was rushed to hospital but had died.
