Rural development department additional development commissioner collapses in train, dies

KOTTAYAM: Additional development commissioner V S Santhosh Kumar of rural development department died after collapsing in the train. The incident happened when the train from the capital city to Malappuram reached Kottayam railway station. Santhosh Kumar who was travelling on Kochuveli-Nilambur Rajyarani Express suffered massive chest pain and following that he was disembarked in Kottayam. Though the railway police took him to the general hospital, his life could not be saved. The body is kept in the hospital.
