Woman dies after coconut falls on her head

OTTAPALAM: A young woman met a tragic end when a coconut fell on her head while washing dishes. The deceased has been identified as Rashmi (30), daughter of Ottapalam native Manikandan. The incident happened yesterday morning at 10.15. The coconut fell from a coconut tree near the kitchen of the house. Although Rashmi was rushed to Ottapalam Taluk Hospital, she could not be saved.
