Youth given electric shock after stripping him naked, squeezes genitals, three held

VIZHINJAM: Three people have been arrested in the case of beating a youth and giving him electric shock after stripping him naked. Feroz (35), Sajeer (40) and Manu (35) of Vazhamuttam were arrested. Thiruvallam sub inspector K R Sathish said they circulated his nude photos on social media. Manmadhan (38) of Vazhamuttom was brought to the lodge and beaten up. The incident happened on Monday afternoon. Manmadhan had dumped garbage in a plot near the house of the accused. The dogs who came to eat this reached the house of the accused and attacked their goats and a dispute over this, is behind the incident.

The accused pretending as friends took Manmadhan in a jeep and brutally tortured him after taking to a lodge owned by Manu. After beating him, stripped him naked and gave him electric shock and after squeezing his genitals, dropped him home.

Manmadhan sought treatment at the medical college hospital after developing physical uneasiness. He later lodged a complaint with the Thiruvallam police. The police arrested all the three accused. The Thiruvallam police registered a case against them for murder attempt and for circulating the youth’s picture on social media. The accused were arrested by SHO Rahul Raveendran, sub inspector K R Sathish, grade sub inspector Sathish Kumar, senior CPO Biju and Shaiju.
