SAGAR: Police have registered a case against two Congress MLAs in Madhya Pradesh for harassing a young woman while she was traveling on a train with her baby. The MLAs are Suneel Saraf who represents the Kotma constituency and Siddharth Kushwaha who is the MLA from Satna. Siddharth Kushwaha is also the president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress party’s OBC unit.

The incident occurred when the lady was traveling in the AC coach of Rewanchal Express. The two lawmakers, in an inebriated state, sat near the seat of the young lady and began misbehaving with her. The frightened lady quickly phoned her husband and informed him about the situation.

The victim’s husband put out a tweet mentioning the Railway Ministry and the Railway police. After the tweet was sent out, the police intervened in the matter.

The police have informed that the two MLAs are charged under IPC Section 354 for outraging the modesty of a woman.
