THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Migdad (76), the actor who immortalized the character Phayalwan Rajan Pillai in the film 'Mutharamkunnu PO', passed away on Wednesday. He breathed his last this afternoon while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram following a stroke. Migdad, who made his acting debut through the film 'Aa Divasam' in 1982, was a former national volleyball player.
Migdad showcased his talent in the field of acting through plays in youth festivals during his school and college years. He retired in 2010 as a Postal and Telegraph Officer. He acted in several films including Aanakkorumma, Ponnumkudathinum Pottu, Nanma Niranjavan Sreenivasan, Sakshal Sreeman Chathunni and Mannar Mathai Speaking.
