Asian Games: India secure two gold medals on day seven, at fourth position with 38 medals in total

India won two gold medals on Saturday after falling behind in final matches filled with excitement. With this, India has won 10 gold medals at the Hangzhou Asian Games with emphatic wins in the men's squash team final and tennis mixed doubles. India remains at the fourth position with 38 medals including 14 silver and bronze each.

After losing the first match in the squash final against Pakistan yesterday, Saurav Ghoshal and Abhay Singh's wins took India to gold. The Indian battle was after overcoming the provocations by the Pakistani players on and off the court. After losing the first set in mixed doubles, Rohan Bopanna and Rituja Bhosle won the gold through a tiebreaker. In athletics, Karthik Kumar won silver and Gulveer Singh bronze for India in men's 10,000m. Sarabjot and Divya Subbarao won a silver yesterday in mixed pistol shooting.
