KOCHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is conducting a raid in many places including a private hospital at Kochi in connection with a case of organ trafficking after forging documents under the guise of organ donation. Reports say the raid is being conducted in five places of the state. Najeeb, the main accused in the organ trafficking case, has received a huge amount of commission and the raid was based on this.

Najeeb of Kasaragod was arrested from Ghaziabad last month. The organ trafficking was carried under the guise of medical tourism. Najeeb has created a large network for organ trafficking under the guise of a company called Kallatras Medical Tourism Private Limited. The fraud was committed in several districts.
