LONDON: Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become one of the biggest talking points in the cricket world following his impressive performances in the IPL. Now, former England captain Michael Vaughan has praised the youngster, applauding his fearless batting style. Vaughan spoke highly of Vaibhav's aggressive approach, saying it is remarkable to see a 15-year-old hitting sixes with such ease.

The former England skipper also revealed that he met and spoke with Vaibhav during his visit to India for the IPL. Speaking on a podcast, Vaughan said the young batter does not appear to follow any elaborate preparation routine before matches.

"I was in Mumbai last week when Rajasthan were playing against Mumbai. It was a crucial game for them in the race for the playoffs. Yashasvi Jaiswal came over and spoke to me. A little later, this young boy came over, and I told him how much I enjoyed watching him play," Vaughan said.

Vaughan added that when he asked Vaibhav about his match preparations, the teenager gave a surprisingly simple answer.

"I asked him what his preparation was like. He told me he doesn't really do anything special. He watches cartoons and eats whatever food he likes. There's no strict diet. He eats everything. He watches cartoons, enjoys his favourite food, and then goes out and hits the ball out of the ground," Vaughan said.
