Colombian singer Shakira has released the official song for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The song titled “Dai Dai” has been launched in collaboration with Nigerian artist Burna Boy. The music video also features several prominent football stars, including Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Erling Haaland.
The song begins with football players saying, “We are ready.” The video has a runtime of four minutes. The word “Dai” is an Italian expression meaning “come on” or “let’s go.” The song includes lyrics in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Japanese. The track is already going viral, with many praising Shakira’s performance and dance moves. Fans have also commented that the 50-year-old singer still shows the energy of someone in their twenties.
Shakira is returning with a World Cup anthem after 16 years. Her 2010 South Africa World Cup song, Waka Waka (This Time for Africa), has become a massive global hit and remains one of the most popular official World Cup songs ever released.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will begin on June 11 in Mexico, while the final match will be held on July 19 in New Jersey.
